Book Description: This collaboratively crafted, justice-oriented Open Educational Resource supports languages educators seeking to explore gender-expansive and gender-just linguistic practices in thoughtful, context-responsive ways. Bringing together practical materials and accessible theoretical grounding, it invites reflective, situated engagement rather than prescribing universal solutions. Drawing on examples from several Romance languages and informed by relational, decolonial, and intersectional feminist perspectives, the OER opens space for more inclusive, life-affirming pedagogical possibilities. Through interactive activities, case studies, and reflective prompts, it encourages educators to examine their intentions and positionalities with curiosity, humility, and care, while remaining attentive to the complexities that shape language, power, and identity. It aims to nourish conditions in which more equitable and transformative learning experiences might take root, within classrooms and beyond.
