Grounding

When reading or viewing challenging and confronting information, it is important that you take care of your wellbeing. This aligns with the Library commitment to trauma-informed practice and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ concept of health, which is holistic and incorporates social and emotional wellbeing in addition to physical health.

The following video was developed to give you a moment to catch your breath and process all that you’ve learned so far. It also serves as a reminder that everywhere you walk in Australia, you are walking on Indigenous lands.
