Ready to publish?
Checking your Pressbook
In the lead-up to publishing your book, you should check that you have:
- filled out the required book information fields
- added a book cover, title page and Acknowledgment of Country
- applied a Creative Commons license and that you have permission to use any third-party copyrighted content
- met accessibility checklist standards
- provided exported versions of your text for download
- returned signed author agreement forms.
The next chapter contains a detailed publication checklist you can use to review your book.
The Library requires a minimum of two weeks’ notice to publish your open textbook. This gives us enough time to undertake a final review of the content before publication and complete pre-publication tasks.
