Aerobic Exercise Variations

Long continuous aerobic training
>20 minutes continuous activity at a constant speed
E.g. 30 minutes run/ rowing ergometer/ bicycle
Fartlek training
Continuous activity with varied intensity “speed play”
E.g. 20 seconds run, 20 seconds jog, 20 seconds walk; repeat for 2 x 10 minutes
