101 BEYOND THE JOURNAL PAGES – Contributions by Pinaz Tiwari

In quiet halls where research grows,
Where papers speak in measured prose,
A newer path begins to rise—
Not ink alone, but digital skies.

Reading research bores, a scholar remarked
Why couldn’t they add a few colours and perhaps a shark?
The font makes me feel sleepy
Even with that cup of strong black coffee-
Am I lazy or does it happen with everybody?

Itching her head, she couldn’t agree more
Formal fonts, bland colours, too made her bore
That’s when her mind thought of an idea
Why not soft launch research on social media!

A vision that sparked her curiosity
Weaving publications with a pinch of creativity
With every post, the page soared likes and followers
Afterall, she was mentored by another women leader

Not just in journals lined with gold,
But through the social streams where stories unfold,
She weaves her work with mindful care,
Across the networks that scholars share.

A guide’s lament beneath the dome,
A traveler lost, far from home—
Crowding’s cost at heritage gates,
Or how a virus reshapes fates.

She knows the gap—between labs and young minds—
Where knowledge hides and sometimes unwinds.
So she crafts her threads of words, concise and clear,
A virtual bridge that draws you near.

With clever lines and stories spun,
She makes the heavy feel like fun.
Because research, she likes to say,
Should brighten up a researcher’s scrolling day.

And, through stories framed with care and grace,
She gives her work a public place.
Not for acclaim, nor for display—
But that her work might find its way.

Beyond the clicks and likes and shares,
She finds her peace in thoughtful cares—
Giving back through creative spark,
Lighting up the academic dark.

The journal’s rise, its quiet bloom,
She shaped its story, gave it room.
Beyond fun, she envisioned to engage and involve
Build a social community that share and solve

Being a South Asian woman in the frame,
For young generation, her path could spark a flame.
Not just a seat—but a beacon, a light,
For women to dream, build and take charge of their flight.

For not all wisdom wears a crown,
Sometimes, it simply filters down—
Through words, shared vision and careful reach,
Where scholarship and people meet.
